We are very proud to announce that last year, we have been awarded a Golden EcoVadis Medal at the first participation. This Ecovadis reward is a great recognition, but only the beginning of an exciting journey.
07/06/2022 - We have the Radon Gas Approval Certificate!
Are you familiar with Radon Gas?
Radon gas is a radioactive gas ☢ formed by uranium in the soil and in the rocks. It’s present everywhere in the subsurface, in variable amounts according to geological characteristics.
Radon gas can therefore enter underground through concrete joints or pipe penetrations.
Since we know how often radon gas sneaks into your building, we found it important to check if our products helped you to keep the gas out.
We are happy to announce that we’ve received a Radon Gas Approval certificate! ✔ ✔
This means our products not only make your concrete joints waterproof, but they also keep the radon gas out!
Quality and safety are the main pillars of our company and of our products. With the help of our laboratory & testing, we will keep improving this.

12/11/2021 - Bekina, proud owner of the ISO 14001 certificate since November 2021.
The ISO 14001 certificate guarantees the implementation of an effective environmental management system by an organization. This means that Bekina NV manages the environmental aspects associated with her activities in a structured manner.
Not many organizations of our size apply ISO 14001, but for Bekina NV sustainability and the reduction of the impact on our environment are a priority. That’s why we believe it’s important to invest in this domain.
26/08/2021 - Polybar+ and Bentobar+ BBA CERTIFIED!!
Recently, the BeSealed products Polybar+ and Bentobar+ have also been certified for the United Kingdom. Not unimportant since the Brexit. BBA stands for British Board of Agrément. It wasn’t an easy road because of the many requirements and procedures. But now that we have received this certificate, the road to strong growth in the United Kingdom lies open.
Of course, we cannot rest on our laurels. Every year, we have to pass strict audits in order to retain this certification. It is an absolute quality guarantee for our customers, not only in the UK, but also beyond. Not only in relation to our products, but also with regard to our internal processes.
10/02/2021 - Bentobar+ obtains certificate
BeSealed has obtained the Avis Technique certificate (ATec) for Bentobar+. This certificate is issued by the French institute CSTB. Up till now, we have not sold many BeSealed products in France, but this could soon change as a result of obtaining this ATec certificate.
12/09/2019 - London calling: Tideway Project
As you all know, BeSealed products have been developed for waterproofing concrete structures. An example of a concrete construction is the Thames Tideway tunnel.

12/02/2019 - BeSealed conquers the market
In 2019 has already been very busy for BeSealed! In January both BAU MUNCHEN (GE) and WORLD OF CONCRETE in Las Vegas (USA) were on the agenda. In March BeSealed will set foot ashore on the UK market with the UK CONCRETE SHOW in Birmingham.

Last week, BeSealed® proudly presented its water swellable product range in Turkey at the Scaffolding and Formwork Exhibition in Istanbul.
